Kennesaw, Georgia:<BR /><div>The Assistant Chief Pilot (ACP) reports to the Chief Pilot. &nbsp;The ACP must be an experienced airman and meet the hiring requirements of flight crewmembers as outlined in the FlightWorks GOM. &nbsp;Experience in FAR 135 operations is required.</div><div><strong>&nbsp;</strong></div><div><strong>Essential Job Functions:</strong><br /><ul><li>The ACP position involves several tasks, including line flying, pilot training, and administrative tasks associated with the job.</li><li>Key elements of the ACP position include active communication with flight crewmembers, organizational and leadership skills, and mastery of applicable regulations and operational requirements.</li><li>The ACP must be willing to assume the responsibilities of FlightWorks SMS, IEP, and ERP programs.</li><li>The ACP must embrace the safety and regulatory compliance posture that is the very foundation of FlightWorks.</li></ul><strong>Duties and Responsibilities:</strong><br /><ul><li>Assists the Chief Pilot in supervising all activities within the Flight Operations Department.</li><li>Maintains line currency as a Captain in at least one airplane type.</li><li>Participates and directs, along with the Chief Pilot and Operations Specialist, all training activities of flight crewmembers</li><li>Participates and directs in the development of standard operating procedures and the implementation of these procedures.</li><li>Along with the Chief Pilot, plans and participates in the annual inspection of all outsourced training agencies.</li><li>Maintain a close liaison with all flight crewmembers (pilots, cabin attendants, etc.) to insure a steady flow of information to and from management.</li><li>Maintain a constant dialog with check airmen (company and contract) regarding the performance of all pilots and participate in the development of their annual performance appraisals.</li><li>Maintains the FlightWorks Safety and Security programs as directed by the Chief Pilot.</li><li>Must be highly knowledgeable of the entire contents of the GOM, FOM, Operations Specifications, and all Federal Aviation Regulations pertaining to company operations.</li><li>This job description does not imply that the above functions are the only tasks that may be performed by the ACP. &nbsp;Employees will be expected, if possible, to follow any other job-related instructions and perform any other job-related tasks as requested by their supervisor.</li></ul></div>
