Looks like Flight Attendant had a head injury from severe turbulence, but remained conscious. Decision was made to air return by PIC prior to notifying Dispatch.

It was reported to us as a wake turbulence encounter I was on the CRJ side of the operation so all I saw was the report that the IAH hub coordinator sent out.

Was it another A380 like in Europe?
