I am sitting at 66.4 tt with essentially just my solo XC time and practical test prep left to do. I recognize I will need to do more to get resigned off for solo under the new instructor, etc. I also know I will likely need to head south, since the weather here in Washington is probably too unreliable for a quick concentrated finish (like a long week) like I am interested in.
Does anyone have any recommendations? I looked at american flyers, since they advertise finishing, but their rates seemed high (160 dual for a 172), and they weren't sure I could get done in 7-9 days.
My local FBO took all their planes off insurance for the winter, and despite instructors urgings, they arent changing that any time soon.
Help!
