and who have a background that would enable them to complete CRJ training in eight simulator sessions. Commercial, MEL fixed-wing, and instrument experience are required, and FAR 121/135 experience is desirable. We are looking at candidates with 121 experience. However, candidates without 121 experience will be considered if they possess advanced aircraft training and/or experience.

This may be the mins, but I wonder what "competitive" is. The reason I ask is how many people with the mins. will have any 121 experience.

Yes.......I did. I had around 600TT with 400ME and received a call w/in a couple days and did the standard basics over the phone.....
Any DUI's, driving violations?
Any FAA accidents/ incidents
Military experience?
How many hours in the last 6 months? How much multi in that time?
etc...

Received an application in the mail a couple days later.

Hey Andrew......

Thanks for the vote of confidence....haha

Right now I'm sitting around 730TT w/ 520ME. How about you? What type of equipment you flying w/ that great white north 135?

Oh, I also have an interview with Colgan next week.

I can't figure it out...I must have misspelled something...I still havent heard anything. I have an interview with Mesa in a couple of weeks, I am hoping to hear back from some other places as well.
How long after you sent in the resume(fax or email by the way?) were you called

Thanks

Mark

Do you have the ATP written done? My stuff was forwarded there a few days ago, however I have not done the ATP written, but the career services guy didn't say anything about it.

Just wondering-

It was only a couple days.....but someone hand delivered the goods. A friend of mine who had a few more hours than I sent his info. in and it took about 3 weeks for him to get a call.....he had all but given up hope and today the phone rang....it was ASA calling. So, don't give up hope....it just might take awhile to get the call.

No, ATP written not finished yet.....hopefully in the next 4 weeks though.

I applied before they officially dropped their minimums and it took me about a month or so to hear back. It was another month before I could get an interview scheduled, I interviewed on Monday and Tuesday.
