The rumors are about to be put to rest. On Wednesday, July 13, the combined brand identity of Atlantic Southeast and ExpressJet will officially be unveiled!

Oh boy!

Re: ASA/Express new identity

New call sign too? Acey, Chandler, and Jetlink all stink.

Re: ASA/Express new identity

Mullet Air. "Business in the front, party in the back" callsign will be redneck to show our combined Atlanta/Houston roots

Re: ASA/Express new identity

You jest, but 'City Jet' has been the hot rumor of the training department!! :D
I've heard that too... I've had guys swear that will be the new name based on "reliable" sources. However, CityJet is already a current airline:

So I don't think that will be it. :)

HOWEVER... there is a Skywest airlines out on the other side of the world too:

Besides, wasn't that a training video for all airline ticket sales? It costs $3K but we'll sell one way for $62!
No doubt!!! ;)

Re: ASA/Express new identity

We'll be called SkyEast, and then we'll file for single carrier status based on name likeness alone.

Yeah, but if that's the callsign, it's going to sound hilariously close to "skeet"

What's funny about "Skeet" Ball? Other than I can hardly ever roll my balls in the hole. That game gets tough after a while. I don't know if they've changed to lighter weight balls, but those older wooden balls used to wear my arm down!

Stamina is a real important part of the game, especially with those older balls. You gotta pace yourself.

Re: ASA/Express new identity

Skeet Skeet 5669, deviations right of course are approved, direct WOLMN when able, resume the arrival...

Re: ASA/Express new identity

I thought it was going to be Atlantic Southeast. All these changes are gonna make my head spin.

Re: ASA/Express new identity

From the windowwwwwwwwwws to the wall!

Re: ASA/Express new identity

Whatever the new names is going to be, I'm sure it's going to be something stupid. The latest one I heard was "Nexus", which if you look up the definition means "A connection or series of connections linking two or more things." Unfortunately I could see them coming up with something stupid like this.

I really don't care what we're going to be called or what the call sign will be. The only thing I care about is the 15th and 31st of every month when I get paid the the check clears.

I'm sure it's also going to be fun commuting/jumpseating for a while and getting the "Who do you work for?"...
