Isn't it decelerate?

"ASA (Atlanta Southeast Airlines )"

What a well written article. In this economy how does this person still have a job?
Oh boy.

Certainly not going to speculate, but it'll be interesting to evaluate any energy management aspects going onto a wet runway.
Short one or long one (RWY)? Glad it was slow and didn't hit the LOC.

Maybe the ghosts got tired of planes landing on their graves. :D

Ed: Another forum had them landing on 18 -- no LOC, as I recall.
SAV doesn't have any "short" least as far as a CRJ crew is concerned.

I thought the article was funny...they're basically saying this is a non-abnormality, you know..the plane was de-accelerating and the crew decided to put the gear in the grass. Nothing to see here folks!! Nothing to see!! (Quick get the tow tugs out!!)
