AS IN AVIATION DEGREE......if it's free!!

I checked with Broward College here in Miami FL. and they offer 60 credits towards the AS in Aviation degree, if one has A&P certs. This is an 82 credit course so I would only have

to complete 22 credits to get said degree. My plan is to finish the 22 credits, which should take about 6 or 7 months then go on to BA or BS in something else. Oh and by free

I mean I already have a pell grant of 6k which should cover total cost.....I hope. I really would like to know what folks on here think. Thanks.
 
If your goal is to get the BS, then ensure that all 82 credits will be accepted into the BS. Most places limit the number of transfer credits (normally 60), wouldn't be smart of them to hand you a degree with their name on it that you did most of the work for elsewhere. And get it in writing from said 4-year university what they will accept.
