Just finished a fun filled 6 days in beautiful Artesia, NM. Great course, I recommend it to all Part 121 Pax and Cargo pilots. It will give you a new perspective on cockpit security.

I'll be there too. Just as soon as I don't have to pay my own way. Everyone I've spoken to has said the course was outstanding. I'm looking forward to the passage of the new act.

We had a Delta furloughee who is working for ATA now. They gave him pos space tickets on Delta to get there and back! Only cost to me was $30/day for room and food. Great cafeteria, good food, all you can eat, three meals a day!

Lots of beef, chili and big turkey legs, ya know, man food?

Everything from salad bar, burgers, deli sandwichs, hot food line with different entrees every day, pies, icecream, any drink or juice known to man. Only food that was disappointing was the Prime Rib on Thurs night, just wasn't up to good steakhouse standard. A little pub is open from 1600-2300, but you really don't have much time to go there. They keep you busy from 0730-1830 every day, Mon-Sat., then you study until 2100 or so. Take plenty of Advil, band-aids, and medical tape. You WILL have cuts, bruises and sore muscles, it's a very physical week.

PS: Don't eat chili for lunch if you are going to Defensive Tactics that afternoon, the color of the chili clashes with the mat room floor.
