Hey...wow...finally getting a few minutes to peruse the forums again and post something. I'm in the apartments at the school rather than the houses which are not within walking distance. The apartments are here at the airport and are easily within walking distance. 5 minutes I guess to walk it, I've not done so yet....seems like I'm either having to go somewhere directly from school or before or something all the time. I'm going to walk it myself as soon as things settle to a mild roar...at least part of the time!
My room is fairly large....I'm guessing 15' by 15' (approximate) with one side having two areas pushed into the room about 3 feet for closet space. My room has a queen in it...least that's the size of the sheets I've got on it and they fit well! I'm guessing there are some rooms that may be a little different, I was told to wait to get bedding until I got here and saw what I had. There are 4 people per apartment, everyone has their own bathroom and shower. Common laundry room with washer/dryer in here off the common room with a small kitchen area (stove, microwave, etc), a couple of couches, TV, and a few little tables. Apartments have a screened in porch out back as well. I'm pretty happy....with the aforementioned issue of my cell phone signal in here.
I'll try to get to the other post later....just got my stage I instrument stuff done today and now I'm playing catch up after studying the entire written book the last 4 days.
