Ari Ben Aviator, Inc Diminishing Threads

Congrats on passing the PC, I think that was one of the most stress filled days of my life. See u around the crew room..

I moved the thread as it really didn't have jack to do with Ari Ben and I've been over the basic issue like 5 billion times already.

Don't like it? PM me as between a full work schedule and studying for 767/757 school, I have no time or patience for a public debate with anonymous people.

Edit: Change of heart. Just extraordinarily cranky and disenfranchised about the amount of hubris flying around the forums in the past 48 hours.

I think this is why so many present and previous students and instructors do not post on here anymore, the gay drama and same argument over and over.

The owner does not get mad about negative posts on here. He only gets angry if someone posts something negative without even talking to him about it and something that is false and slanderous. Kind of like jumping the chain of command.

For example, if I was Doug Taylors FO, and if it was his turn to land and takeoff, and he did a horrible job in my opinion. Without talking to him about it, I run to jetcareers and post, he's a horrible pilot and never to fly with him. He would get upset and I would probably get my tires slashed.

Another example, I post on jetcareers that Doug is selling our email addresses to aggressive spam marketers so dont sign up, Doug would flip out because a) I never talked to him about it and b) it is totally false and slanderous.

Now substitute Doug's name in those examples with your name, and see how upset you would be.

Point taken there Maverick, but to reflect I believe DE727UPS's words which for me explains it quite clearly -

Well, welcome to the internet. If you don't take the time, the other guy wins. That would bother me.

It would bother me as well. For a balanced perspective, I need diverse opinions. I'm also incisive enough to differentiate the personal biases and bitterness from substantive facts and valid observations/experiences. I would hate to think because of the callous/scorned or naive posters, those with valid points choose not to post. I'm thinking that perhaps that might be possibility/probability. . .possibility.

"You, too, have a free tour from me at Johnson Space Center"

I used to just about live in the Hilton in Clear Lake back when we had a EFD-DFW-EFD run in the 72. Probably been 7 or 8 years but I remember walking to the Fudruckers on Nasa Rd 1 all the time. The UPS operation moved to IAH and I bid off the 72. Haven't been to Houston since.
