Argh! Checkride Rescheduled!

Man, I just got a call from my instructor who informed me that the airplane I've been training in will be down for maintenance the week of my scheduled checkride. So, my checkride is now scheduled for 30-APR-2005. I'm sure eager to get this behind me.

I can relate to that. My PPL checkride is scheduled for May 2nd and the suspence is killing me. Can't wait to get my license!

Good luck Coney. I too will be taking a checkride on the 30th - my initial CFI. It's been rescheduled once as well (should have been last Saturday), my DE had a corporate trip crop up (yes the FSDO referred me to a DE). Chance of rain and clouds this Saturday, too...we will see. Sunday looks good if his schedule is open.

To update you all (for those interested

), I met my DE on Friday morning at 8:00. We began the oral exam, which I did well on (well enough, anyway). However, we were unable to fly, because the ceilings were too low for some of the commercial maneuvers. It's tentatively reschuled for Tuesday, May 3rd, but it's forecasted to be crappy. I want this to be over!

Went up with Terry based over at Calaveras. Really nice lady that makes you feel comfortable being up there instead of stressed out and nervous.
