Its the walmart approach. Say you're looking at microwaves. Walmart will display a really cheap microwave, you the assume ALL the microwaves are dirt cheap, but they aren't. Same thing, people think "OMGZ $98 r/t to SFO-LAX after taxes!", then they think whatever fare they get on WN is the best, when in reality they can be hundreds more expensive than legacy carriers on some routes. They still get that dolla dolla bill yo.
