He will hold memphis. Actually he was pretty senior on his vacancy for Memphis. But he will probably be on reserve forever. FOR-EV-ER. haha....But I would rather be on reserve at home, than commute to a 10-12 day off line.

Yeah, I got MEM. Who knows? I looked at the PBS awards for MEM CA, and I would have been 10 from holding a line in April. I think if I went with a CDO line, I could probably nab that in about 6 months. The thing that's gonna kill me are the "base hoppers" that like to go from hub to hub collecting the per diem and the potential of MSP getting axed.
 
That's really nice of the other CA's helping you out. Glad you got MEM so you don't have to worry about commuting.

Nah, I still get a large variety of "Dear Dough, I only want to work for (regional with a hub near their hometown) and not move on to a major and kollidj iz dumm because (airline) weel alwayz b dere" emails.
