Pathfinder Aviation Anchorage, Alaska:<BR /><p><strong>Classification<br /></strong>Non-exempt </p> <p><strong>Salary / PTO<br /></strong>$18.00-20.00 per hour with guaranteed OT / Band 1 PTO (full time)</p> <p><strong>Reports to<br /></strong>Air Operations Center Manager</p> <p><strong>Summary</strong></p> <p>The Air Operations Center (AOC) Operations Specialist obtains an overall picture of the daily flight operations of Pathfinder Aviation to facilitate aircrew in their decision-making and management for scheduling. In addition, the AOC Ops Specialist aids in maintaining the airman/aircraft daily flight reports.</p> <p><strong>Essential Functions</strong></p> <p>Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform essential functions.</p> <ul> <li>Maintain situational of multiple, simultaneous airborne aircraft across Alaska, Canada and the Lower 48.</li> <li>Perform data entry tasks related to flight operations.</li> <li>Generate spreadsheet metrics of historical flight operations.</li> <li>Act as a point of contact between pilots, mechanics, company management and clients.</li> <li>Initiate Emergency Response Plan in the event of an in-flight emergency.</li> <li>Other tasks as assigned by the AOC Manager.</li> </ul> <p><strong>Competencies</strong></p> <ul> <li>Communication Proficiency.</li> <li>Thoroughness.</li> <li>Critical Evaluation.</li> </ul> <p><strong>Supervisory Responsibility</strong></p> <p>This position has no supervisory responsibility.</p> <p><strong>Position Type/Expected Hours of Work</strong></p> <p>Non-exempt full-time position. Shifts are 10 hours in length during the winter and from May 1 to Sept 1 shift hours typically increase to 12 hours per day all shifts are on a rotation of 7 days on, 7 days off.</p> <p><strong>Travel</strong></p> <p>This position does not require any outside travel.</p> <p><strong>Additional Eligibility Qualifications</strong></p> <p>None required for this position.</p>
