Anyway to practice ATC communication?

The first thing you need to learn to say is “BLOOOOOCKED” in the most annoying voice ever. Controllers love that

Immediately followed by “URRRR ON GUARRRRRRRRRRRD”

“GARRRRRRRD”

That should keep you up to speed with most of the northeast.

 

[Pilot Fighter]

Practice in your car, aloud. Ask ATC for permission to leave the driveway, turn, exit, etc. This will get you into the rhythm of identifying yourself and requesting clearances ... and being ignored.

 

[Autothrust Blue]

Immediately followed by “URRRR ON GUARRRRRRRRRRRD”

“GARRRRRRRD”

That should keep you up to speed with most of the northeast.
