Yes the LW actually has 44% more cubic inches. The 50% was an exercise at rounding.I haven't been able to look at one in person and they don't list the internal dimensions on the LW website for comparison. If you've seen it in person, is it really that much smaller? I don't go to the islands much from the west coast but we do a lot of Baja/Puerto Vallarta. So a typical four day trip I'd need at least room for five speedos. I'm no heathen, I need a clean pair every day plus a back up.
Pelican is located in Torrance so maybe I'll swing by in the way to work one day.
Plus the LW can be over packed and pushed into "compliance" to get the zipper to close. No such luck on the Pelican.
