Just wondering..

I was thinking of getting this winter to practice
my PPL training and IFR when the weather
is too bad to fly.

I took a few months off from my PPL since I could
not commit my time 100%. I thought it would be better
for a break then to learn half mentally when I was too busy
to read, study and fly.

I have 14 hours.

If your talkin' about flight simming without a CFI and not loggable time...I'd stay away from the Elite. I have both the Elite and MS2004 and the only good thing about the Elite is it's FAA approved for IFR training within a PCATD operation. Otherwise, I like MS2004. It has better grapics and is more realistic.

Most guys say flight simming is bad for student pilots. I think it has it's good and bad points. Jury is still out, in my mind.
