I am looking for a good flight school to finish up my training! I am doing the pay as you go deal, cause financial aid isnt working one bit. I was just wondering what anyone reccomends? Thanks for your help people!!!:nana2:

I've heard only good things about Riverside although I have no personal knowledge of them. I suppose Christiansen is okay as well. They lease airplanes and I've flown a few of them in the past. They are always older and usually pretty basic. I think Riverside leases some of their equipment from Christiansen (I could be wrong). So if you don't mind older equipment, it's probably a decent place to go.

Riverside flight center is a pretty good school....much better than the neighbors to the east (which I graduated from). As mentioned we do lease all of our planes from Christiansen, some old spartan planes, so our planes are not the newest in the area but they get the job done. The good thing about RFC is that it is a guarenteed course with extremely high standards (over 95% first time pass on checkride). The price is about half that of the neighbors and, to the best of my knowledge, is up to CMEL. Also we are a 141 school with the feel of a 61 program. It is an extremely fast paced program and is meant mainly for full time students, though we do have a few part-timers. The school seems like a hole in the wall, but we are growing extremely fast. This is a really brief overview, if you have any specific questions feel free to ask or stop by the school. Good luck!!
