Hello everyone! I'm in the middle of a 4 day trip and the captain I'm flying with made a mention of this career fair! Real exciting stuff!

Anyway, I'm looking to fly in real early say 9-10AM and cab it to the hotel to say hello to everyone, and fly back to NY that afternoon. Is anyone else flying in around that time? Maybe we could cab-pool to save some $$$

Thanks everyone, see you there =)

you have a join date of 2002 and didn't know about the career fair? You need to log in more often. :)

I am glad to hear the word is getting around :D

cab pooling is a GREAT idea. hopefully, you'll find a new folks that are interested in that.

There are a few options for transportation to/from LAS...

If you want to get to the hotel quick, a cab will probably be the fastest way. There are tons of cabs in Vegas and even if you have to wait in line to get one, it is usually not too long of a wait. However, a taxi is definitely not the cheapest way. There's an initial charge of $3.30 plus an additional $1.20 when you're riding from the airport, and then $2.20 per mile.

I usually take the Shuttle buses, but be prepared to wait! They are probably the most affordable option. It's $5 or $6 to Strip hotels and a few dollars more for downtown and off-Strip hotels.

If you want to be a "High roller" you can also take a Limo. They usually charge by the hour starting at $40+/hr.
