You have to love Minnesota! The four seasons, eh? I haven't been able to fly backwards yet, just stationary. Nothing like watching a house off your wing not move for five minutes.

I've done it. It's fun

Weird thing is, on the ground, the winds were light and variable. But at altitude, the wind was blowing hard. So, just for giggles, I decided to do some slow flight.

I gotta tell you, it was the strangest sensation in the world. My airspeed indicator is saying, yup, you're moving, but the ground was going backwards.

Anyone ever sat in the seaat just behind the wing of a BAe146 on final and seen the runway you are going to land on out of the window - that's scarey!!!!
