I got a passdown from a newer dispatcher that had sent it to a fairly senior crew over ACARS and I just chuckled...ignorance is bliss

Doesn't bother me. What does bother me is when they don't real my release remarks... really man. Everything you need is there. I rarely get calls questioning anything and get more acars or calls praising my remarks and thorough work.

Yeah obviously that crew I had never read the remarks either. It was clearly remarked that we will have weight restrictions for a reason and he still called me anyways saying he wanted 1k fuel for no reason. Just kinda annoying. Wish pilots can read more sometimes.
