Any way to make money sitting in a hotel room

Day trading? All the pilots with their finanacial advice tell me it's the way to go.......

:)

Worked for me, to the point that I totally quit flying and all ambitions to do it commercially. Have owned a couple planes and fly for fun.

Seriously it is a great way to make "extra" money. Most people fail becuase they treat as a hobby not a business.

Im always willing to help. Everytime I post something like this I get a few PM's and most people don't stay dedicated long enough to benefit from it. That being said Im still willing to help, thats about the only way I contribute on these forums. Anything worthwhile anyways.

Do you have any websites or vids on Youtube that you suggest to start off learning the basics of day trading successfully?

Very few day traders are profitable. You have a much better chance at a positive roi by swing trading.

But the ones that are are ultra succesful.

Let me give you an example 7 years ago my mate "Pedro", started out with 10k. Today he has almost 2 million in trading accounts in Singapore, the UK, and Switzerland.

It can be very very hard but like anything if you can weather the storm you can do well.

I said it before-
Fixed a bunch of windshield chips @ 12k annual with a few hours a day.
Requirements are a few-
Minimal training- a repair kit- a bus line or airport car.

No I don't. You know why? The ones that know what they are doing arent too willing to share their exact secrets. I have videos that are good to watch for the basics and the terminology.

I've been doing this for 6 going on 7 years. Its not something you just pick up and get over night.

Like I said Im willing to help people out but I wlk a fine line. The last thing I want to do is make them dangerous in the market but ill prepared to fix any boo boos. I would hate knowing Im the creator of losing hard earned money.

I have a couple of companies that i build & maintain their websites. Works pretty good on those down days but it seems like they always want a ton of changes right when I need to fly.

Lot of truth to this. I would suggest this as a starting point.

If anyone is interested just shoot me a PM.

I need to know:
How much capital they are willing to trade
What their goals are with the money. I mean exact goals not, "make a lot of money bro"
How much time they can dedicate to it.

Sell calling cards, the wave of the future. :sarcasm:

The most likely way to add income while you are sitting around is with an online webstore. You will need to decide what you want to sell and then go from there. Sell something you are interested in or that you can get a supply of.

Also I do know a pilot that has an internet porn site and he tells me that it is a real up and coming business. He recruits people to do live cam shows and takes a commission.

Other than that, I'm out of ideas.

what do you trade? Forex, stocks, futures? I have long time practicing forex in demo accounts and always think it is my future, but seems too complicated to be profitable with some real consistency. Now I am looking to dive in stocks market, any advise? Thanks

I trade FX because of liquidity and DOM. I have traded stocks, futures and commodities. My fund in the states was legal to trade futures, commodities and FX.

Its not complicated just uber competitive. There is a whole lot more to know than just a certain way to make money. You need to have the right broker, right people and many other things. Like I said its a business, you can't just have a good product.

Stocks are slow, boring, and too susceptible to Obama, Merkel, or Bernake.

If you're interested in trading stocks trade the indexes. Learn their eb and flow and trade accordingly. Problem with these is leverage is very low. Most people are only willing to throw 1k into it. You cant do much with 1k especially with low leverage. FX allows higher leverage which is a double edged sword. You can beat any retirement fund with a little knowledge on this stuff. Im amazed, still, at how many people trust their financial advisors.

What I noticed with most rookies is they arent patient. They want to turn 1k into 1 million in a month, get frustrated and blow it up. If youre starting with small money look at your returns in a % not a whole number.

Like Amway?

No, more like Madoff.

If you are going to screw people - go big. Don't be the guy stealing $35 from the bank - steal $35 million somehow. You are both going to end up in the same place - but the $35 million will afford better counsel and perhaps a lighter sentence with a change to keep some of the money.

Uh huh...same thing with actors....and musicians...and athletes....and even professional pilots. Very few are successful, but the ones who are, are ultra successful.

Yep...same thing with professional aviation.
