Any info on Boutique air?

In a crew environment you can't be a good pilot without being a good human being.
He was a competent pilot with good SA and knowledge about his aircraft, just seemed to always want to make things difficult for everyone he interacted with. I agree about the CRM, that cockpit is pretty small, hence my comment about him never moving up from a Lear 35.

I'm told the reason Great Lakes hasn't completely folded under is that the guy that owns the airline also owns as much of his supply chain as he possibly can. The airline is just the money intake for everything else.

I don't doubt it. There's money out there, but not in ops. It's where the people aren't looking.

So...ironic twist to that story......Great Lakes (AKA Great Mistakes) is in partnership with ADI. ADI is owned by John Beardsley. The infamous owner of the recently caput Seapot airlines. I'm not seeing a bright future here.

High five to the 'Van stories
- had an Asian stripper barf into the O2 mask bag. She couldn't have weighted more than 80 lbs, but kept going for ages
- girl pax regularly peed into the garbage bin and took the funny looking bag with while blushing like crazy. Hey, I didn't have to clean it up, so no harm done
- worst was a buddy pilot coming from the Bahamas solo with a huge urgent problem, cooler and a Jepp binder. Said the Van looks awful scary when it's flying by itself and you're taking care of business all the way in the back :D Cooler was thankfully not approved to be returned to service

Took the owners in the E90 to Denver from Chicago a couple weeks ago. Kids had happy meals...and I had to inform the line guy at BJC there was a bio hazard in the belted potty. "Uhm, I can't get it out of your aircraft, you need to get it out on the ramp for me to clean it."

Sigh...the things you're not told when you get your commercial ticket.

I'm still shocked when I hear "Lakes Air" on the radio. People honestly still work there in today's market?
