Lol, come on guys. I know it's a little goofy to show up screaming in all caps with a vague question, especially when people do this kind of thing to troll...

But it could very well be somebody actually looking for advice. If this is this guy's first interaction with people inside the aviation world and we throw out a bunch of inside the industry jokes at him as his first impression, it's probably not going to be a good one.

That said, I have absolutely no idea.

I'm going to answer this since I know there are others that have the same question.

It's going to depend on your current experience and what kind of flying you want to do. Are you looking to be a private or commercial pilot?

If you have absolutely no experience in aviation then I would not come to Florida and start learning to fly.

The best way to begin flying lessons is to go to your local airport (near where you live now) and find the flight school or flight instructor and take a discovery flight. If you like it then you continue until you get your private pilot's license.

After you get your private, then you can decide (at that time) what further training you would like to pursue.

I ask the same question a couple weeks ago, got no love....

Thanks for the info, though. Turns out I might be closer to Vero Beach than Daytona long term.

Dude said he was from Ecuador. Imma go out on a limb here and say that the GA environment and training opportunities in that country are way more limited than in sunny, clear skies Florida.

FWIW, Flight Safety Acsdemy in Vero Beach is a good 141 school for 0 time people to learn to fly. Can get speedy, but you will learn good skills/habits there.

Full disclosure, I was an instructor there for two years.

1. Because you might not be cut out for this and you will now have wasted tens of thousands of dollars and not even gotten your private pilot's license.

2. Because over 80% of the people that begin their flight training do not even get their private pilot's license. They simply wash out, quit or decide this is not for them. Wouldn't you really rather find this out before you came to Florida and spent $70,000 and went home with nothing.

It is way better to enter aviation within 50 miles of where you are now sitting or standing. You won't have hotel bills. You would have out of town meal costs. You can keep your current job. You can pay for lessons as you go and determine if you really want to do this. (or if you can do this)

Some people find out they get air sick once they go up in an aircraft. Isn't it better to find this out on a $200 discovery flight instead of after you have committed for a $70,000 zero to hero program?

Some people find out they can't multi-task. Isn't it better to find this out in the early stages of your training before you spend $70,000 on a school far away from your home?

Some people can't pass the written tests. Isn't it better to find this out early on?
