Thanks! Getting body parts up is a little bit of a hassle. What I had to do to avoid getting gouged for shipping was find a place in eBay motors that had free shipping in the lower 48 and have them ship it to Alaska Marine Lines (barge company) in Seattle. They then put it on the barge to Juneau. It worked out well.

Not sure about a hood. Will probably keep this one for a while till I finish addressing some of the other squawks with the vehicle (inop rear defrost, 60,000 mile service items, etc) then maybe.
 
Hell, as long as you can get it up and down and it locks okay, no big deal really. Pretty smart figuring out the parts scenario. I was wondering how difficult it was to accomplish that. That puppy should last you a while, and nice having some room in the back end too.

Ha, I wish I could take credit for figuring out the parts scenario, it was actually a friend of mine who had to do basically the same thing to his car that put me on to it. Shoot, if you make it up to AK this summer you might be able to see it in person. And maybe even meet baby! Depending on when you come.
 
When is that baby due?? Boy or girl? Is this your first?? You mentioned your wife was pregnant when she had the crash in the other thread. Man, that must of really had you guys upset and worried. That is so frightening. I am so glad they are both okay. I am dead crazy over kids, especially babies. My youngest grandkids (twins-boy and girl) are now 17 months old and running around all over the damn place. I miss the baby stuff. They grow up so fast. Sigh. I gotta start hinting around about my son having more, I guess. lol

I hope you both are feeling a bit better too. I know how difficult things have been for you guys recently. Takes time. Try to remember the positive things that you have going on and just support each other and hang in there. Sometimes, that's all we do for awhile.
 
Due middle of may. Our first, and the first grandkid for both sets of parents. We find out tomorrow if it's a boy or girl.
 
That is wonderful!!! You both must be very excited. Prepare for no sleep, but it's going to be such a surprisingly, wonderful and special joy when you first see your baby and get to hold them. Nothing , nothing in this life will compare or ever be the same again. I hope your schedule allows you enough time at home with Mom and baby. Congrats Daddy!
 
Fogged in all day here, so I changed some light bulbs on an airplane then burned the rest of the day doing this:
