...flying Cherokee 6s in SE Alaska. Yesterday I picked up a guy in Haines and went direct to Gustavus over the top of Glacier Bay National Park....

Typically we top the tips (which gives about 2 hours in the air) then add as necessary to the mains. Most of our runs are pretty short (longest regular trip is 1.5 round trip) so we really don't need to carry a lot of gas. Once the wx starts getting interesting no doubt we'll carry more.
