Another Cedar Point trip

I drive planes
I flew out to the best amusement park in the world with a CFI and a friend to have some extra fun with my complex training. Trip was C77-SKY-C77 and on 6/15/09

I only got pictures of the flight, because I didn't want to take my aunts camera into the park to lose it.

Sorry I couldn't make it out there! Maybe I'll catch you guys the next time around! Looks like they finally repaved that runway. It was nasty last time I was down there!

Yeah, they repaved the runways about a year ago (3 days before my first trip)

I am already planning another flight out there for early August, maybe we can try another M&G.
 
What a small world. I flew with a group of friends for my birthday weekend up to KSKY and we were at Cedar Point on 6/15. We were those two C-172s parked in the grass.

That's crazy. We parked right next to you guys then. :clap:

It's too bad you didn't see the thread we made about having a meet and greet.
 
I flew over cedar point about 6 times last week on cross countries to KTOL. Haven't been there in about two years. I used to go every year at least once.
 
Awesome! I have not been out there since Top Fuel opened, drove all the way there and it broke the day we got there!!!!!! That park is a great time!
 
Amusement Parks aren't my thing, but I've been wanting to fly up to Lakefront and walk over to a Indian's game. If anybody in the CVG/CMH/DAY area is checked out in a plane (I'm not single engine current any more) I'd be happy to split costs.
