Announcement Ending 05/02

I can't wait, I am taking a tour of ZTL tomorrow morning at 8:00 a.m. Called my contact at around noon today and told him my AT-SAT information, which is what i was waiting on, before i scheduled a tour, and scheduled it for in the morning. This is the way i like it, no waiting!:)
 
Soo...testing ends this Thursday I believe. Then what's next? Estimated timeline anyone?

I am figuring end of September, beginning of October. Thoughts?

I am pretty sure it ends friday the 18th, at least that was the last test date offered to me in Holtsville, NY.

Best case scenario (following what the FEBOTS went through):
AT-SAT testing for PUBNAT2 ends Friday 7/18
Geographic preferences sometime next week
Referral lists towards the end of August
PEPC invites beginning-mid September (really depends on when panels meet for us)
Attend PEPCs in October/November
Depending on what classes the open up in OKC and how many of the FEBOTS still need to be put into classes, head down to OKC in December/January

That's what I'm figuring based on the FEBOTS' schedule... don't quote me on any of it...

I took the AT-SAT yesterday and didn't think i did all to well. First few portions of the test was fine. On the letter factory and the ATST portion, i made a few mistakes. I crashed two planes and in the letter factory i tried putting the wrong colored letter in a different box 3x! Analogies threw me for a loop for the majority of them. For the personality portion i was so racked by that point who knows! I was told i will get my score by tuesday of this coming week we shall see.:panic:

You will probably do great. I think all of us made mistakes on the letter factory and scenarios and a lot of people had a hard time with the anoalogies...especially because they gave me a whole new definition for analogy. I always thought that word analogies were totally based on definitions, but now I have to know how to spell and anunciate and rank the importance of each...aaaarghhh!! But If you read the rules you probably did a lot better than you think. I didn't really feel all that hot about that section when I left either.:whatever:
 
Scores are up for Peachtree City..........I tested on the 15th and mine was just entered on ASAP........

87.3 well qualified

I also was a little worried due to the awareness questions on Letter Factory and Analogies. Felt pretty good about the rest.
I guess now it is time to do some more extensive waiting............:panic:
 
Well i just received my test score and i didn't do as well as i had hoped for but never the less i just fell inside the "well qualified" sector with a 85.8! Does anyone honestly think this will be good enough for a call back, I am think probably not with a good portion of people in the 90's and 100's!!!
I guess i didn't do to bad.:banghead:
 
I don't think it matters at this point as long as you fall into the "well qualified" range. So good job!!!

Hehe, I got a 85.9! Guess we'll just wait and see. I'm trying to go the non-pepc route and have been in contact with the facility that I want to go to directly.

Well, i did my tour of ZTL this morning. It was the most amazing thing that i have ever seen. If anyone gets a chance to tour a facility take it. Everyone was very nice and helpful. one of the instructors was kind enough to give me a packet that was sent to him from an OKC Academy student, which included the map that we will need to know, and many of the tests. They also gave me the (correct me if i am wrong) 7110.65 book which i believe contains all of the phraseology that we will need to know. over all it was a very good experience, but makes me that more impatient to get to OKC.
