Announcement Ending 05/02

got an email today to contact Robinson to schedule a date for the at-sat. anyone else get the email?

Not yet, but I saw someone on another board who got the email yesterday (or maybe it was 2 days ago...)

When/where did they offer the test for you?

Is all the testing for this announcement done in CA, or do they try to place you geographically?

This is straight from the announcement:

At election of agency, testing will be done at any of the below locations:
Seattle, WA
Daytona Beach, FL
New York, NY
Atlanta, GA
Chicago, IL
Houston, TX
Miami, FL
Oakland, CA
Los Angeles, CA
Oklahoma City, OK
Fort Worth, TX

I assume the Covina test is the Los Angeles location and the other person I mentioned who was contacted received the offer to take it in Houston, so I hope they'll be getting to the rest of us soon.

Thank you chichi, i will probably try to give him a call sometime tomorrow, because i know my luck and i will probably not receive my email for who knows what reason. Have you tried to contact anyone yet about test date information? well i guess we can all say when we get through this process, that we know what the true definition of patience is!:banghead:

I haven't called anyone yet. I'm thinking they might be doing the emails based on testing location, and I haven't seen enough people getting the emails for me to actually worry about it quite yet. I've only seen one Houston and one LA and nothing else... I know there are a lot of us waiting for these emails and I think more people would be posting about them if Robinson sent them all out already.

Yeah your probably right, i am personally waiting on the emails for the atlanta tests, and i had read on another forum from someone who posted today, that they are also still waiting, so i may need to wait before i start bothering anyone or they may "forget to send me my email".

lol well I'm hoping I'm right at least

I'm waiting for the NY tests, so I'll start worrying if I see those and I still haven't gotten one. And believe me, if/when I get that email I'll be broadcasting it here since no one in "real life" understands why it's so exciting :panic:

They do send the emails out by testing location. That is what happened for the Feb. announcement.

i'm a chicago person... no e-mail yet either. i am not worried though, if they did not want me to take the test i figure they would not have selected me for it. i will keep studying and enjoying summer. :D

I'm hoping to get in on the NY tests as well. Thats the closest drivable distance.
You are so right though, nobody understands, or cares.
I've had people tell me that they took the post office test 20 years ago, and haven't received a call yet.

Do you have any idea about the time frame between the first people who recieved the email, versus the last? Days, weeks, months?

Just did a quick scan of the Feb applicants in their huge thread... it seems that they all got the emails over a course of about 2 weeks...

Edit: Another random note... the 2/15 applicants also only waited 2 weeks between the close of their application and the first of the emails being sent out...

Thanks chichi, very helpful information, i guess i at least have a week and a half before i need to start worrying.:panic:

just fyi for you guys... i never received an email about taking the atsat. i had a snail mail notification that said I was supposed to call and set up a date. the thing about it that sucked the most was that I got the letter on a friday when I got home from work and had to schedule by that monday or i would have to have waited until this round of testing... They are only monday through friday and when you do call to schedule plan on calling for about 20 to 30 minutes straight.
I took my atsat in chicago. chicago was the LAST place to test in the U.S. for us feb kids. good luck to you guys... this waiting stuff sucks hard.

Thanks for the info, indyserpico... that's been one of my concerns... I also remember reading that someone got the letter in snail mail after the last day to schedule (but I think that person also had an email, so he/she was ok)

And for us 5/2ers, looks like today's round of emails went to the Seattle test-takers...
