just called, and i cleared my medical and security. :rawk: was SUPER easy. medical person transferred me over to security. they had security done 5 days after my PEPC. just have to send an email now to (as they said) find out about an FOL and class date. just thought i would give an update.

This is whats confusing. I was told by the head honcho security person from my region that i was cleared as far as they were concerned. However, the OPM will also be conducting their investigation. So how are you cleared before the OPM investigation is complete?

Also....i am thinking of calling aerospace medicine....but, I am not the kind of guy that wants to step on the toes of my HR manager..since it is this persons job to inform us if something is wrong.

Do any of you feel the same way? Should we be calling around. I emailed my hr rep....shouldn't that be enough?

I agree about the slippery slope of top stepping and I emailed my HR rep to get the latest. I spoke with Medical today because I'm going to renew my airmen medical next month and the head nurse said they are still processing the medical evals from the PEPC's- goes alpha. by last name in groups then sent to the region of your facility.
 
when i called medical last week, they told me that they hadn't gotten to my DAY (PEPC date) yet. it wasn't alphabetical. i was on the 21st, so i am assuming they have everyone done that was at the KC PEPC.
 
The medical people are helpful. I spoke with the lady from my region and she said all was good except she is waiting for results for my mmpi. Apparently all mmpi results are processed through the central region and sent out to the applicants region after they are analyzed. However, I was given a number to call....

again I ask myself...... Do I feel lucky?

i was told the same thing...what number did you call to find out that you cleared the MMPI? when i called up the one for the North East the guys said "on one section it says CLEARED, and in the other section it says PENDING still." he also said i definately passed but someone just forgot to put it in both spots

Has anyone confirmed through their HR rep that all of your clearances are in? If so, has HR mentioned anything about class dates or FOLs? It would be so great to have good news to share with family over the holidays! :)

Affirmative. And as soon as she verified they were in she called to offer a date!
 
Can anyone give me a telephone number for medical and security or tell me where to find the numbers, Im going to STL. I havent contacted anyone I was just trying to give them time to conduct the security investigation, but now that I hear someone is cleared and scheduled for a class date I think I better start calling....
