I spoke with Jim today and I have been accepted in to the program. My start date is June7th in JAX. I will spend a week building 25 hours in a 172 for 50/hr and will start the ACPP on June 14th in JAX. I'm so excited I can't wait. Time to get the writtens out of the way.

wooohoo. hope to see some of you there.

Great news for you, congrats!

How did the loan process go and all the other jive that goes into being able to go?

Did you do the key or sallie mae?

I'm going through Key. The loan was simple and fast. Diane at ATP seems like a real nice lady.

Congratulations on your start date! You have 5 writtens that need to be completed for the 90-day program so get moving! Start by taking the Instrument Airplane and the Flight Instructor Instrument. They are from the same bank of questions. I wish I had taken advantage of the $50 an hour for a C-172 including instructor. Enjoy.

yeah I need to hit the books over the next few weeks. I'm not sweating the Instrument or Commercial written too bad because I took an instrument/commercial course over the fall semester in an aviation program at Metro State in Denver. I scored in the 90's on both final exams but looking back in to my Gleims I certainly need a refresher. I don't know much about the other writtens so I better get crackin.

Congrats. I did ATP's ACPP a few years back and loved it. Great flying and great people. Enjoy, and don't forget to pack a camera with you.
