I'm not long away from passing 1700 hours but today I took and passed my ATP-multi checkride. The oral was nothing to make note of but the flight was intense. I could have flown better but I suppose that's always the case.

A great deal of thanks goes to LoadmasterC141 and his crew in Arlington for squaring me away and helping me get it done.

I guess now since I don't have anymore FAA sponsored initials to collect (for three years anyway) I should go out and get a real flying job. My soon to be wife won't put up with me collecting anymore ratings I'm afraid.

If you ever find yourself in TYR I got the first couple rounds... congrats buddy...

I work just down 20 in Van. If you're ever flying along 20 look for the massive oil tanks, our runway is a grass one just on their west side.

Company might be a little upset if I took their Saab on a little detour... but it would be fun....
