Wait until everybody finds out I'm really only a Private Pilot with an IRA, I'm afraid of the dark, and I got kicked out of the Air Force after 4 months because I'm allergic to milk . . .

Dude, I have seen the pictures. You ain't no AF.....You are staright up Marine...(you know the guys always trying to bum a ride from us Navy guys..... :D )

ColganFO knows too much about the company to not be involved one way or another, but just when people seem to give him another chance he keeps digging the hole deeper with each post....

1. My expierence well here it goes I came to Colgan after flying corporate for 5 years, P180, BE200, BE400 at a company called Pacific Jets out of Teterboro.

ColganFO, You stated that you use to work for Pacific Jets, as it turns out I am a personal friend of the owner of Pacific Jets for a couple of years now along with his wife and plenty of the crewmembers. In fact I’ve actually covered plenty of trips for them during a period of merger talks between themselves and my company at that time. The aircraft types that you supposedly flew for them, I was unaware were in operation at Pacific Jets.

Could you please tell me:

How many bases does Pacific Jet have?
Where is Pacific Jets main base, and what free food is always in the main office?
Initials of the owner, along with any identifiable characteristic details?
Initials of the chief pilot?
How would you describe the office(s) in Teterboro?
In Teterboro, does the company have crew cars? If so, how many, and where are the keys?
How would you describe crew accommodations in Teterboro?

Ah Snap!

Im thinking this person has vanished for the time being. Is it possible he was already a JC member under a different name. I guessing it is a current JC member. Just a thought. We can alway ask him where Colgan originated from?

When people start buying shares of Jetcareers, THEN it's a public board. :) If it's a PM to Doug, it's purely between the individual and the owner/operator of the web site. Trust me, dude. Doug will keep your stuff confidential.

Me Me !!! I want to buy some shares so I can be a be a President of operations.....no no....a Junior Vice President of operations lol :)

First of all, it's a shame that Pacific Jets is no longer in business.
I gained alot of good expierence there, and their was alot of good people who worked there.
While I was employed at Pacific Jets we had three bases; main base out of Van Nuys, CA.
The chief pilots initials were RB, and it is a very uncommon first name.
It is a shame the company isn't in business anymore, seeing as they shut down in 2005 and now being operated by a new company.
If you have any other questions, concerning the old Pacific Jets you can go down to Van Nuys, CA head down to Roscoe Blvd, were the old offices used to be is where you'll find the new management and see if they can help you out.
This should be more than enough info for you, I don't exactly remember what I ate, what I drove, and the office layout, well I don't know how to answer that one short of drawing you a picture.
Oh and by the way, we had more than enough pilots, and we rarely outsourced, so which Pacific Jet aircraft did you fly???

you can find all of that information on google buddy. answer the question about the food. i dont think he would ask if it was bread and water. it sounds like it is something memorable.

Okay then go ahead and google it.
See how much you can find on a company that closed down 2 years ago.

i did. i found out everything that you had posted. it isnt hard buddy. now i hope fsi chimes in to say whether or not you hold water but i still have my opinions.

Well then if you found everything on google then, you don't need FSI to validate the information because you are obviously already found it.
You should be able to see if my answers hold water yourself...
Anyone else???

ColganFO,

I don’t want to you to take my questions as being antagonistic, all I’m trying to do is if in fact you worked for PJ that sure would shine at least some credit your direction that's all. Although I’m not sure I totally succeeded; I was trying to design my questions to where a linemen, or other non-pilot employee or observer would flounder about and not specifically be able to answer. On the flip side of that, and to suppress any question of my own claims I’m totally an open book and will be willing to publicly answer any questions you may have. As for enough pilots, to be honest with you I’m not 100% sure when you said "had enough pilots" is an accurate claim. I agree that the total number of pilots was a larger number than in most 135s but then so was the number of aircraft. I recall some very quick upgrade and transitioning due to lack of crew. As far as outsourcing, I’m not entirely sure I understand. I didn’t say that I flew ’your’ aircraft, what I said was “In fact I’ve actually covered plenty of trips for them during a period of merger talks between themselves and my company at that time”. I apologize if my wording was not clear. What I meant by that was that since PJ and my company were in negotiations, that I had been crewed on my company’s aircraft (which was Universal Jet at the time, I still maintain a VERY close working and personal relationship with them) a number of times to ‘cover’ the trip, in our aircraft of course. Further more as a qualed 135 guy you should know that I would not have been able to fly 135 in PJ aircraft without going through approved company indoc and I believe a 293 (or 297 is it?) with a company check airman.

Thank you for pointing out where I can find additional information about PJ, I’ll write down the address incase I decide calling the owner at home is too much trouble.

Again I surly am not calling you a liar, or saying that you did not work for PJ but I don’t think that the information you have posted is exactly what I would deem knowledge of an insider. However giving credit where credit is due, the CP’s name is very uncommon, German if I recall correctly. And although PJ’s main base was in VNY, its very, very unlike any pilot to include the word California when mentioning Van Nuys. To a 135 pilot that's like making sure someone knows that NYC is in New York State, it just read a little odd to me that's all.

Riddle me this...
Initials of the principal owner, if he/she was a pilot, jet or just recreational?

Over the course of five years you must have met the owners spouse, what country are they from?

In Teterboro, what building did PJ operate out of, or did they have their own building?

In Teterboro, you don’t remember if your own company had crew cars/number of/type or not?

In Teterboro, Pilots had VERY specific and unique accommodations, care to comment?

Main office in VNY had VERY specific food in the lobby, ? Trust me, every pilot remembers where the free food is!
