That would piss me off. In fact, I'd leave. It seems they will do anything to not have to raise the pay, which hasn't changed since around '99-'00, when gas was $.95/gal. You can be damn sure that what they charge the customer has gone up with inflation/fuel prices, but our pay certainly hasn't. A $.15/hr "raise" per year (for the Metro/1900), means that in reality (due to inflation), we make less and less money each year. Raising the pay and making some schedule changes is the only way I can see that they are going to attract quality pilots that will stick around.
Besides, the only airplanes they could do this in are the Chieftains, so all that is going to do is attract people who have no multi time. They're going to get it on our dime, and then bail to the regionals and the circle jerk will continue.
