AMF BUR pilots trying to get to SLC

I'm usually just a lurker here but I thought I remember a Bur pilot who was trying to get released to salt lake. Im an oakland amfer and was hoping whoever it was could pm me, i have a couple questions.

It seems most guys have to threaten to quit to get a base transfer after their 6 month base lock. Or in the case of a couple of guys, actually quit. The worst part is when we hire off the street in front of people with standing bids, that's a pretty big kick in the balls.
 
yeah i was sitting tight at my base while people under me were threatening to quit and getting out. learned my lesson about being patient
 
Yeah I just got off the phone with MR up there in Oakland (he was one of my trainee's), turns out he's gettin' hosed like everybody else.

When was your class? I probably had a hand in teaching you if you got here in the last 9 months.
 
MR is actually one of the guys causing me to get hosed...we'll see what happens though. definitely going to start looking at the local regionals. i was aug 06 class sept 06 checkride, same class as training captain EK
 
Harsh. When I talked with him he said that his base bid had been awarded but they were trying to get him into class.

Don't fret, though! Two guys are on the way after today with a potential third coming up in 2-3 weeks.

I was in the class after EK. Cool guy, I'm an offline guy with him.
 
yeah i feel bad for MR since hes been trying to get to san juan from day one but i dont want to get screwed just to help him out ya know
