ALPA's official statement of support:
Our letter to the AirTran pilot group:
Well done to both groups! Though you can't wear your uniforms (which is understandable), the support would be great for the AJ guys.

Actually, it's not really understandable. Every other pilot group doesn't have this restriction. Only our management is so strict about the uniform at picketing events. Oh well, at least we can show our support without wearing our AirTran wings.
I mean understandable that since its an MOU, you cant really break it. I agree, the reasons for the MOU itself kind of don't make sense especially if other pilot groups don't have the same restriction.
What's happened with uniform strictness (if anything) following the ATN pilot from a few months ago that.....IIRC......dropped his kids at a game, or something like that? Is he cleared?
We got him cleared as part of this MOU. His suspension was rescinded.
For those who really are adventurous, look at KandeeG's website. It's better than a 3 AM infomercial on cableOr her Facebook, http://www.facebook.com/pages/Kandee...=wall&viewas=0 , and read her "info." We're talking one serious nutcase. But this is what the Amerijet guys have to sit and listen to every year in recurrent!!![]()
If you'd like to ASK KandeeG how it is she talks one way and then helps her husband treat their employees like crap, you'll have your chance today from 3-4pm and every Monday and Thursday on "South FLorida's ONLY All Business Station" www.880thebiz.com
Maybe she can come up with some really good mumbo-jumbo on the air. Hopefully, picketers won't show up at the station, WZAB "The BIZ" located at:

What the heck....AirTran has uniform police ? You think mgmt would have better things to do with their time.
Due to disagreement with a company, people are going to start harassing the guy's wife, that is not the classiest thing in the world to do. What's next, following their kids with picket signs....
An effective strike is to never stop being a professional, the minute you start doing juvenile things, the strike stop being a work stoppage and starts looking like a bunch of people causing trouble.
All it will take is one press release to say "stop harassing my wife" for public support to swing towards Amerijet, not with the pilot groups but with the general public & investors.
Me personally as somebody that supports pilots and has been in aviation for quite time and I am quite surprised that somebody wife is actually part of the strike conversation.
Several of them are repeat-offenders.
No worries. Just be prepared to see your name on a list for the rest of your life if you fly their struck freight. The choice is yours.
Despite the 11 scabs, not one Amerijet flight, with the exception of the management scabs who flew on Day 1, has moved. One ABX scab management flight and one CargoJet(Canada) flight have.
So, what is the point of a scab list, exactly? The scabs were scabs before, are scabbing again and getting paid, while the union "brothers" are out on their ass. Seems like they are doing a great job of protecting their "brothers".

To reiterate, the "repeat offenders" continue to fly and feed their families, while the "union brothers" are out on their ass.
The scabs will not be hired at several airlines ever, they will not be allowed jumpseat access, they will not even be given the time of day!
Ya, look at where they had to go to get a job... Amerijet! Obviously Amerijet has no problem hiring scabs. But these repeat offenders were hired by Amerijet, and are continuing to fly.
