I am in the 9/9 class and was hired a week or two ago. Time to play 'see what happens.'

They probably shrunk OAK down again and have too many pilots. They are likely locals and don't want to move. That is my guess. If you are willing to move you won't have any issues.

I was told during my metro training that their Metro was only temporary (it was BFI's metro). I dunno.

Not to put too fine of a point on it but I've been getting a lot of messages from my old coworkers in the last 2 weeks looking to come over to my regional airline. Sounds like morale is on the downswing over there.

I received an FB message this morning asking if my company was hiring from a HWD AMFer. The pilot group is not happy there it sounds like. I wish them ass the best, I hate to hear about friends and former co-workers going through tough times over there.

It seems to depend entirely on which base you're at. PHX morale seems to be much better than HWD or DFW

To be fair we even knew the writing was on the wall over 2 year ago for that base. If they expected to be there for a while then I dunno. Don't get me wrong, it sucks (especially for the new guys) but I can't exactly wonder how anyone would be pissed about something they knew 2 years ago.

Two offers from horizon to a couple of pilots in SLC to interview and another has a interview with skyw. Pilots are fed up
