Oh I don't think that, I just don't want to be a nuisance. I guess keep calling until she picks up?
Call every day. Just stop leaving messages. The only person you may be a nuisance to is the front desk lady. Not Sherri as she wouldn't know.Ha that came out wrong. I mean just like every couple of days, you get the idea
There ya goShe must be on vacation or something because I had an email exchange with her two weeks ago consisting of several with the final one with me sending her an updated resume a week ago Friday...... And then nothing but tumble weeds all last week. So I'm guessing that she has been away from her desk...
How long does it usually take for them to get back to you? I applied about a week ago and haven't heard anything from them.
I take it Sheri is HR? How can I contact her?Our turnover right now, particularly out of the Chieftain is ridiculous. Keep calling, Sheri is REALLY buzy would be my guess for the delay.
What's the best way to contact her?
Will do. Thanks!!!Call 18008004JET and ask to speak to Sheri.
There ya go. How short are you on XC time anyways? Good luck.

Well, I tried, an earlier post by UAL747-400 states that turn over is pretty bad right now but apperently not bad enough to want to interview someone with close to 1800 TT now and exceeds 135 mins and has over 50hrs ME time. About 3 weeks ago I saw an ad on the orange site. Discussed it with my wife, decided to bite the bullet and apply. Made arrangements to leave my home and live in the Bay Area with my cousin if I was to be offered a job as Hayward looked like a likely base. After I applied I got this in an email from Sheri, "Your application indicates qualifications and experience that closely match our requirements and we are therefore interested in discussing current employment opportunities with you. Could you please take a few minutes to send your current pilot resume to me? " so I did as she asked 2 weeks go by and I got this yesterday "Thank you for submitting your resume for review. Unfortunately, we have selected other candidates at this time that we feel more closely meet Ameriflight’s current needs,"' and so on and blah, blah blah..... Thanks for the encouragement Block, I do appreciate it, but if I am going to judged by numbers on resume rather than my actual abilities I think it is going to to be an up hill slog for me, one that's looking like I may not be willing to pay the ever increasing price of admission ....
135 regs require 500, nothing Amf can do about that. Keep your head up and keep moving forward!Oh and sorry, I didn't answer your question. I need another 126 hours of PT 121 cross country time to reach the magical "500". Been begging borrowing and stealing it as best I can..
