Your source is right! Tuesday the april class got cut. Today the march class (which was done with training) got let go.

I hear that it's been done. Only 5 or so line pilots and the rest were trainees. So if you're still where you are, you're good for now.

I'm not affected by it, just curious. I know a lot of things at AMF are not done by seniority.
 
I got an e-mail today. 10 newly hired pilots let go and 13 with classes suspended indefinitely.

To sum up, 23 pilots will be invited to rejoin Ameriflight as soon as possible

The e-mail also said that these people would be in front of me, but to contact her in a "month or two" for future hiring.
It sounds like they think this down turn will be short lived. I hope they are right. Good luck guys, it is possibly good news.

Well I haven't gotten an email or anything on the portal. Go figure we find out about layoffs at our own airline by third hand info on the internet. Had to call my ACP on the weekend to confirm this. :(

Which doesn't surpise me how this all went down.

Hope they come back soon.
