Ameriflight DFW Hiring Dispatchers!

Ah finally started hiring huh. I remember that I called them when I was down in DFW to see if they would hire me, but there were no openings at the time.

I saw Ameriflight in Salt Lake City is hiring again. Submitted an application, I've read in this forum it seems to be a decent first job kind of place. Anyone still working there able to offer any insight?

Literally the best, basic, non-hating-thineself entry level gig I can possibly think of. Amflight and its little baby carriers take VERY GOOD CARE of their employees, if you let them. Lotta gripes to read elsewhere about "rah rah rah QOL," or "rah rah rah horrid hours," but they were the smoother side of the two-way takeover I was part of, two years ago.

Go in, do some time, get some quality experience, learn people's names, "build time" and move on.

You may even find a home elsewhere in Dallas.

That's positive. I hope I get it. Like I've mentioned elsewhere around here, I got my ticket out of Sheffield this year, no prior aviation background. Phone interviewed for a LST job Friday which apparently went well enough they're having me come to Raleigh for a face to face. The pay is nearly impossible to survive on but the experience makes it worth it.. I tell myself. In the meantime I'm just resume bombing everywhere.

Just out of curiosity, what does VERY GOOD CARE mean?
