Hello all Shovel here this is my first time. But I have some good pics of this birs strike but cant seem to post them can some one help me out here.

Wow, what a mess, you can see the result on the interior of the door (unless thats the actual color? not familiar)

I'm glad he's safe! AMF incidents usually go unoticed by design. Wutke will probably get a free tshirt.:D I wonder what kind of strange PIF will come out because of this?:)

They will tell you to turn on the radar and scare the birds away...

Here are some better pics of the bird strike. After talkng to the pilot he still cant beleive or really remember how he got it down....

I got a hat and jacket when I almost bought the farm.

breaks all the time.

... sounds like pilot issue to me ;)

I've enjoyed flying it for the 40+ hours I have in it. But it's also an upgrade from the Navaslow. So I suppose its relative, but certainly I would enjoy flying the MU-2 more. It seems to be a bird magnet. Same company, same plane, same DAY, different location, and someone else hit a sizable bird. Fortunate for him, less dramatic then the OPs incident.

My record before I got hired at amf was a birdstrike every 100 hours, most from flying jumpers.
