American Made

Indeed!

Also looking like they are using the external model AND the cockpit of the same model in a movie. That is impressive :)
Minus some of the obvious CGI scenes, the flying and planes are real and Tom does a lot of the flying. Our C-123 is shown twice in the preview and Tom was receiving Dual Instruction in the left seat So they could shoot the scenes live action.

This is the film that Alan Purwin was working on when he was killed in a plane crash.

He was the helicopter pilot on most of the notable movies in the past 20 years. He occasionaly appeared onscreen in flims like The Italian Job and Transformers 1.

They wanted us to take the 123 down to Colombia where the accident eventually happened, but we figured if we did that there would have to be armed guards around it or it would never leave the country.

They used a helicopter stateside for all of our flying scenes as the fixed wing camera ship couldn't get close enough.

Not that it offends me personally, but to do you a favor, its kind of considered a slur now to use tbe word 'retard' in relation to special ed kids.

Against the Civil air patrol however.....

What is the appropriate word these days for developmentally disabled people?
