American Eagle losing flights out of PR?

Cessnaflyer

Wooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo
In May I am going on a family trip to St. Martin and our trip used to connect with AE in PR but now we have been switched to a different airline. Since my mother bought the tickets she didn't remember what airline the email specified. Why did AE lose this flight?

The above is correct. The ATRs are being moved into DFW in force.

A source within company management says that SJU flights are being cut, and the available ATRs are being operated out of DFW. They also said that DFW will be the largest ATR base now.

I wish they would just get rid of those planes altogether. They really are garbage. Every single day, 85%(being generous) of those flight have maintenance issues on them. It is NOT rare that they delay a flight for hours, switch planes, only to find out that THAT one is broken also, then switch to ANOTHER plane that they ALREADY KNOW is broken....then, 5 hours after the whole ordeal started, cancel the flight. The other night we had one get 1/3 of the way there only to have to come back. They "fixed" the problem, sent the plane back out, and wouldn't you know it? It came back again!

At some point, you've gotta ask your self "Are we really doing a service to these people by doing this to them?"

It's downright embarrassing sometimes.

The ATR is not the problem. The problem is mtx.
