I signed up and have the schedule, would be looking to meet with AA flight ops. Does anyone have any details on that portion? All of my contacts do not have any idea...
 
Background... I first heard of this event at the WAI conference in Orlando from someone that was working AA's booth as they were having you register on their IPAD for their career portal. At the time they indicated it would be beneficial for one to go(veterans). I will report back if I get more details.
I thought the Mama thing is "interesting" to say the least. Maybe because there is a planned cocktail/social hour?
Maybe I should make AA rum balls instead of a DAL cake?

I could be misreading this, but according to the bottom chart, 21% of the street-hire pilots were civilian trained, and 363 of the total 561 pilots (65%) were civilian trained?

I think you're comparing the "50 civilian only trained" against the 561 total, which gives the 9%. It appears if the criteria is street-hire only, the number is 21%, and if it's inclusive of all hires, the number is 65%?
 
Comparing street hires to flow is extremely interesting. In it you see that the company hires 2.5x as many females OTS vs their flows which is more indicative of the makeup of females in pilot ranks I would think. Interestingly enough minorities only have a slight edge.

50 pilots of 500+ hires were true off the street civilians, not flow through or military.

Ah, I see now. I misinterpreted the discussion thinking it was civilian vs. military training focused, instead of breaking out how many folks came from flow vs military vs. civilian. Thanks for the clarification.
