Just what this world needs...a leathery Facebook boomerang tracing aimless circles in the stratosphere. They even gave it a Latin name, how cute. :rolleyes:

It'll happen eventually, that market segment would be too big to ignore once they get this whole project rolling.
The quadcopter will just hover in front of you, scan your face, and compare it to some ID that you present to your new droid overlord

Except when there's a solar flare, and the PDOP values get so high the position error causes dozens of these things to fly through short final at Newark.

You honestly think that their won't be safeguards against that? When there are predicted GPS outages for us, there are NOTAMS. Fear monger much?
