Am I The Only Weird One Here??

Haha im not even allowed to get those kind of cars.

Parents wont buy me any other car than german due to safety.

Please, someoen dont pull up "highway institution" tests for civic or anything and say "it got 5 stars."

Our family friends have been in accidents in VERY similar scenarios in BMW's and Benzes, and japanese cars, one being in a civic. People in german cars walked out unharm, civic held up good, but did cause some neck injuries. In terms of german cars, you get what you pay for so no biggie there!:rawk:

Talk to Doug or Kristie about German engineering...lol! German cars are second for me after Japanese cars. American cars are uummmm never (never mind that I drive a Cavalier that wasn't by choice).

Oh but wait the new BMW commercials now say that your car keeps in constant contact with the dealership to alert them to any potential problem to prevent a major/expensive problem form occuring.
They then call you on your cell phone or something in the car simliar to Onstar to tell you your car is in need of service.

Guess some peoples X5 on the board is going to calling the service dept alot...lol!!!

If you don't mind driving Fords, buy a BMW.

So when that BMW goes in the shop every five to seven weeks, you'll greatly enjoy your loaner.

Wow had that many problems?

Our 530 and 330 have almost 0 problems. The 530 just had super squeaky seats, that they just finally replaced them. That was the major thing.:rawk:

Even at the current age of 16 I feel like I should know more than I do now yet I don't do much to make that happen. I don't know if it's just them Airliners.net people that seem to know all the airline's routes or if I should actually know that too. In flight simulation for example, people seem to get really technical, even for just a sim, yet I do the very basic (don't even bother with a go around or ILS approach).

Am I well rounded? Well, I am fluent in English, Portuguese, and Spanish. I want to learn French and German too someday but it's not nescessary. It would be good for job reasons though perhaps. I also play the sax and I'm currently in a ska band. I'm in Navy JROTC but I'm getting out in 2 months when the semester is over. That's really all I got for now.

I wanna do engineering but I really don't have an interest in math. Math is cool when I understand it which is quite rare so I usually hate it. Physics is very interesting yet I manage to get a D in it.:banghead: I guess I just need to do less things and focus more on each one?

Nope. I barely know where my own airline flies and I seem to function passably!

No offense of course, but Airliners.net people are majority of 10 year old's thinking they know everything about aviation. I sometimes like to read with current news, or some pilot trip reports, but when they start asking, about OAG's and such..i think it's too much.

One of the america west pilots though was the one that was involved in the "Close Call at LAS" though. He was doing his trip report and said that occurred.

Beautiful bike.

Although, im more into sportbikes. I want myself a ducati 996!

I prefer the aprilias, you get the italian style and fit and finish, but the rotax motor is rock solid and they're a lot cheaper than the ducs.

Brian, if you don't like math, and don't do well in it, let me give you some career advice. Throw engineering out the window right now. I do not want to ever relive the days as a chemical engineering major and the math that was required. I'd rather be duct taped to a tree in a blizzard. Naked.

There's a reason I'm not a chemical engineer, and I blame Isaac Newton. Not for inventing physics, but for inventing calculus.

I enjoy airliners.net, if you look you can get some good information on there.

If you are ever in the Long Beach, stop by office & I will give you a tour of the Training Center & the Full Flight Simulators....
