Wow 600 hrs huh? I think that by the time folks reach 600tt, the list of airlines hiring will have grown putting PSA close to the bottom of choices. Just me.

NOTE: I AM NOT STARTING A LOW TIME PILOT DEBATE HERE...

If they are only going to take 600 hour plus applicants again, I am glad. There was a VERY large amount of not so good pilots coming through the pipeline due to the "reduced" mins. Granted, quality of time plays a large role, but those extra 350 hours gives one a whole lot more time to find some quality.

Can you name them? I have friends at all of the "other" airlines with low mins and life really ain't a whole lot better at those places.

I got hired at PDT with 1150 hours. I was nowhere the same pilot at 600 compared to 1100. It's not about intelligence or ability, its about experience. And at 600 you don't have that much experience unless you were flying in combat.
