Altitude Pads Reviews?

I've been looking into crash pad options for ORD and I stumbled across Altitude Pads. It seems like it is somewhat of a different approach than the norm. Instead of a house or apartment they are located in hotel rooms I believe. Has anyone used Altitude Pads or know anyone who has experience with them?

Looking for some insight with the company or any others out there in ORD land.

Thanks!

I haven't but I know some female's have a room (larger) at the Quality Inn ORD. I also heard they have more people then beds so now and again they have to get a room to get a bed.

I used them out in LAX and it was a nightmare. Nothing is as advertised. You are only "guaranteed" a bed if you do the 5 night a month plan which they don't tell you before you sign up and even then it is near impossible to get them to assign you a bed. They overbook the rooms so you are always wait listed for a bed and often hanging out at the airport at 6pm wondering if you have a place for the night. Most of the rooms have no common area so as people come and go you are constantly being woken up or are having to pack up in the dark with the light from your cell phone and tripping over other peoples bags in the narrow corridor outside the bathroom. Hotel rooms aren't designed for 4 full grown males. The LAX pad was in a horrible location where there was a shooting in the parking lot. Imagine having to call scheduling and explaining that your crashpad is a crime scene and your luggage and uniform is in lock down. Upon transferring out and giving proper notice they lost my multiple emails and continued to charge me for 3 months. After owing me almost $500 and giving me a partial refund I had to threaten to sue to get my money. They kept transferring me to one of the 3 people that make up the ENTIRE company and had to request their "finance department" to investigate. Avoid the headache. They sound cheap but once they get you to sign up you realize you have been had.

Thank you very much for this insight. I think I will pass on them.

Plenty of fine pads off the Cumberland Stop (20 min from ORD). $185-200.

My pad always has spaces open. Hit me up if you/ they are interested...
