Is anyone flying for AI Regional specifically on the ATR fleet?

From what I understand and this is from people already over there and others trying to get there-no airline is hiring for the ATR in India. Possibly hiring will start by the end of the year.

Not sure of my base yet I got my contract the other day and am just awaiting the start date myself and another chap from what I understand are starting at the same time.

How is the flying?

This from Rishworth. A bit unusual in that they're looking for experienced FOs to upgrade. Still want typed & current though:

There is another company also looking for co-jo's must have time on type though.. for another ATR operator in India.

Oh also must have a proper type rating not the SIC one as I believe it can't be validated.

Flying here is like everywhere else. What's different is when you get on the ground and get treated like a rockstar everywhere you go. Strange their hiring FO's with the DGCA rule. Would explain the PIC type though.
