Allegiant

I know a guy who just interviewed around 2200TT. Must have known the chief pilot or something. No idea if he got the job or not.

Competitive is around 5000....strong suggest you have an ME ATP.
Thank you sir. If you don't mind me asking, what were your times when you got on with them? Do they require Turbine PIC?

I know I'm about 5-10 years away from this, but Allegiant seems like one of the only places I'll actually get to fly the plane; as opposed to a French bus flying me. Yet, my screen name is FlyByWire22...didn't really think that one through.

I had about 45oott when I got hired. I was a left seat driver (rj) at my previous company. Pic time is not specifiied but cannot hurt. We have hired some fo's out of the right seat of jets and turoborprops. We seem to look at the big picture so to speak when looking at a canidate.

As far as flybywire.....the 80 is fly by wire....a lot of wire....it's called cables :) so you will fit right in

DC stands for "Direct Cable"

Rube Goldberg would love McDonnell-Douglas.

Internal rec huh :-( well I guess I shouldn't be surprised cause that's pretty much everywhere that is worth working. Too bad all my friends are at regionals. I have two friends at netjets but that won't do any good for a while yet. I have 4200+ TT, 3800+ PIC but only 815 multi. Turbine is around 2000 a little less than 270 of that is right seat jetstream32 the rest is PC12 PIC. Not sure how far single turbine PIC is going to get me but I know I don't need more of it. I know I need to get that ATP finished and I'm thinking about adding a citation 500 or 737 type rating to it but I gotta find a good place to do it. kinda don't want to send any more resumes out until I get that done so it may be that or just go to Compass for a while.

Get networking.

We have pilots there onboard here that may be willing to help you if you develop a professional relationship.

One of the big misconceptions about the Bus. Just like every other airplane, you kick off the autopilot and guess what? You fly it. Not being an • at you. Just clarifying some things. I still love the Mad Dog to date.

You on the bus currently? Pardon the ignorance, but automation is all I've ever heard about it.

No probs man. Yeah I'm on the Bus. I'm not defending it as the savior of all aircraft. It has issues just like every automated aircraft. Different logic. PM if you want to know anything about it. I might be able to help you but most likely have no idea what I'm talking about.

I have two buddies of mine from AMF over there. One of them nearly walked on over there about six years ago, and the other one just got on there having like 6000 turbine pic, 4 types, jet time, 121 check airmen on two different airplanes, experience flying everything to everywhere, etc, etc. Things change.

There was a time when that was a really, really, really easy jump.

Then the rest of the world found out of about Allegiant.

Yep, if he walked over 6 years ago no doubt he's a captain about half way up the ca list.
